Your treatment is performed directly by or under the guidance of Dr. Nat, MD. What to Expect from Treatment
After treatment, small carbon crust points will form on the treated area - this is a normal and expected part of the process. These typically resolve within 5–10 days. During this time, the aftercare emails will walk you through exactly what you are seeing and what to do. You'll also have it all written out in step-by-step detail on paper, so you can check off each days progress.
As healing progresses over the following weeks, the skin tightens, texture smooths, and your results continue to develop. For some treatment areas, a follow-up session may be recommended to reach your ideal outcome.
Is this the same as having eyelid surgery?
It achieves a similar visual outcome to upper or lower blepharoplasty for the right candidate — lifting hooded lids, smoothing under-eye skin, and reducing excess — without incisions, stitches, or a surgical referral. It is not a replacement for all surgical cases, but for mild to moderate excess skin, it delivers results that were previously only possible in an operating room. Most clients are thrilled with one treatment, however some may require 2-3 sessions.
Does it hurt?
Topical numbing is applied prior to treatment and left on until the area is fully anaesthetized. Most patients describe the sensation during treatment as mild warmth or light pinprick — well within the tolerable range. We work at your pace and check in throughout.
What does the healing process actually look like?
Immediately after treatment you will have small carbon crust dots on the treated area and some redness. Over the following days, these resolve as the skin heals beneath them. Your daily aftercare emails will walk you through each stage so there are no surprises.
